 | Matt Lyons, Head Golf Professional-Director of Golf
This will mark the first year the Matt is the Director of Golf. Matt was hired for this position after Ken retired.
Matt has been in golf for nearly 20 years, most of which was at Davis Park Golf Course. During that
time he worked in nearly every capacity of golf course operations. Matt played collegiate golf for four years
at Weber State University. He is currently the Head Golf Coach at Davis High School. Matt served a two-year mission in Guatemala.
During that time he served in many leadership positions including assistant to the President. He is a father of three children, Nathan, Annie
and Mary and husband to his beautiful wife, Jody. Matt is currently on track to becoming a Class A PGA Professional in April. After
nearly twenty years, Matt still enjoys the comaradarie and relationships he has established while working in the industry. |

 | Tod Budge, Assistant Golf Professional
Tod has now been working at Valley View for 14 years. He is father to four children, Joshua, Anthony, Erin, Holly and husband to his
beautiful wife, Jacque. He still enjoys the associations he as with patrons who frequent Valley View and the experiences that are his in teaching
lessons for these many years. Tod has been teaching Davis County Education Golf Classes for over ten years now and still enjoys the pleasure
of watching beginning golfers learn to love the game. Tod played his college golf at Utah State University and still enjoys a round or two during
the month with some of the choice friends he has made while working here. He is actively pursuing a fine art painting career and has sold numerous
pieces from the shop, most having a golfing theme. Tod's favorite artist is Norman Rockwell and if someone were to gaze about the pro shop and snack
bar they would see Rockwell's influence in Tod's paintings. Tod's other hobbies include motorcycle riding, tennis, reading and viewing
black and white movies. |

 | Greg Sandberg, Golf Course Superintendent
Greg was hired to become the course superintendent after Steve Bennett retired.
We look forward to Greg's first year as Superintendent.
